She graduated Arkansas State University with a bachelors in Animal Science before attending veterinary school. Dr. King obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Missouri, College of Veterinary Medicine 2020.

Working as a veterinarian melds all of Dr. King’s passions in life – love and compassion for living things, endless opportunity to learn and grow, challenging science and an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of people and animals. She loves the variety that comes with a mixed animal practice and gets excited about the challenges that arise when faced with many different species. She is proud to offer animal chiropractic to both large and small animals to achieve and maintain optimal health.  She has taken specialty courses in equine medicine and is eager to meet all the new horses and clientele with in-clinic appointments or farm calls available. As a cattle farmer herself Dr. King has an appreciation for the countryside and understands the hard work and dedication that goes into food animal production.  Looking to bring added value Dr. King is excited to work alongside the producer to enhance herd health, management, nutrition, and production. Dr. King looks forward to spending quality time with LVCC clients and teaching them about their pet’s health so they understand how to make their best friend as healthy and happy as possible.

When not at work Dr. King can be found on the farm with her with her husband, Travis, tending to cattle, training horses, or in the field.
