LVCC's educational equine event

Dr. Lindquist and Staff made it out to Truman State University Farm on Saturday, April 1 2017 to vaccinate, perform Coggins testing, as well as dentistry on horses at Truman State University Farm.
This event was made into an educational opportunity for Truman's Agriculture majors and equine enthusiasts!
The Coggins test looks for Equine Infectious Anemia, a deadly and highly infectious disease that is carried by flies. Animals who have a positive Coggins test have legal and quarantine obligations for the remainder of their lives.
Many horses need yearly dental maintenance for their constantly growing teeth.
