Unfortunately, LVCC diagnosed our fifth heartworm positive pet of 2015 this week. This condition is deadly and on the rise; however, the good news is, is that it is preventable!! Pets should be given heartworm prevention once a month, every month of the year!! At LVCC we want to get as many pets protected against heartworms as we can.
