Unfortunately, there is a current national shortage of the parasite preventatives known as Interceptor and Sentinel. The shortage stems from a production problem which occurred at the plant in late 2011.
Many of our clients have been using this product for the excellent protection these medications provide against heartworms, hookworms, roundworms, and whipworms. While the product is expected to be back on our shelves this summer, presently, we recommend other alternative products.
